Registered Massage Therapy is a regulated healthcare profession that involves the assessment and treatment of soft tissue and musculoskeletal conditions through hands-on techniques. RMTs use a variety of therapeutic methods- including deep tissue work, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, joint mobilization, and stretching- to help relieve pain, reduce muscle tension, improve circulation, and support overall physical function.

Each treatment is customized based on the client's health history, condition, and therapeutic goals, whether they are recovering from injury, managing chronic pain, addressing postural imbalances, or seeking preventative care. Registered Massage Therapists are trained in anatomy, physiology, pathology, and clinical assessment, ensuring safe and effective care that integrates with other medical and allied healthcare approaches.

Jen has been a Registered Massage Therapist since 2005, specializing in sports massage, Active Release Techniques (ART), and functional movement. Renowned for her consistent and effective deep tissue work, she has treated elite athletes from the NHL, Canadian national rugby teams, and a range of other sports including rock climbing, powerlifting, triathlon, and skiing. Her expertise also extends to supporting clients with neurological conditions, injury rehabilitation, pre- and post-natal care, surgical recovery, and palliative support.

With a foundation as a personal trainer and conditioning coach, Jen integrates her deep understanding of biomechanics and rehab exercises into her treatments. Her unique background includes 15 years as a police officer, providing her with firsthand insight into the physical and mental toll of shift work, chronic stress, and trauma. After retiring from the force, she pursued another high-stakes career as an Aircraft Rescue Firefighter.

Outside of her professional life, Jen lives in Squamish, B.C., where she takes full advantage of the outdoor lifestyle. An avid adventurer, she enjoys hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, skiiing, SCUBA diving, surfing, paddle boarding, CrossFit, and powerlifting. When not in motion, she dabbles in playing piano and guitar- enthusiastically, if not expertly.

Jen brings a rare combination of experience, strength, compassion, and resilience to every client interaction, helping people move better, feel stronger, and recover faster.
